I am still alive

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the lack of updates, lately. Ben and I have been really busy. The first update I found my camera. I was so excited. But I havent taken any new pictures yet don't worry I will.

So We are now postponing our Hawaii trip, Ben's dad got sick. He has Bell's Palsy and Hunt's Ramsey syndrome, but it is effecting a couple facial nerves. It has been almost 3 weeks of running him to appt and surgeries. I am hoping he is on the mend but the doctor stated it might take up to 6 months if he does heal. So we are now going to Hawaii in August, we are hoping he will be better by then.

Next, My brother Jarred got of the hospital after 4 years. He was living in a half way house. But they have not seen him in 6 days. So right now we dont know where he is again.

Between the two of our families Ben and I are staying super busy. I am starting to plan something fun for Ben's birthday in May. We are thinking of going camping. Ben only has 4 weeks I think of this semester. He is so excited to be done. I totally understand. Been there done that.

sweet life

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well. Ben and I have been so busy lately. I have become his english tutor ( which I did not know was possible I am not the best to be helping). We have been writing paper and writing speeches all week. He is doing well in school. I have been working a lot of extra shifts to help pay for Hawaii in May. I cant wait to go, Ben's mom thinks I am going to want to stay and I am going to move down there. Not a bad idea. I think could live there.
Ben and I have not yet celebrated Valentine's day yet, that is for tomorrow night. We are just keepingit low key though nothing huge. Dinner and a movie it sounds like. Last night Ben had to work so after work we went to an ugly Valentine's sweater party. Ben and I had pretty good sweater but I am sad to report we didnt win best sweater. We did have a great time though. I have to tell everyone, which this news is very sad to me, I have some how lost my camera. I havent seen it in 10 days. So no more pictures for awhile. I am planning on saving some money to get a new one,so we can have it for Hawaii. I think that I lost a lot of great photos on it since News Year eve time and on. Sad I know, so dont be too distraught if you dont see my face in any new photos for awhile. lol. I will though have my friend email some pictures from last night, and post them later. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I hope all is well.

My birthday

I had a great birthday celebration. I started my celebrations with my friends. We went to dinner then to the Westerner bar, for some line dancing. We all had such a great time. Ben's brother Matt decided to be my personal driver all night so Ben and I didnt have to worry about driving, what a great present.
Then on Monday Ben, Kayc. Lizzie and I went out for some amazing sushi. We had such a great night out. Poor Alicea had to stay home, but before we went out she got to sing happy birthday and help me open presents. She is so sweet. I love that little girl.
Best part of my birthday was my day with Ben. I worked on Tuesday night so I slept half of my bday way. But when I woke up he had made me eggs and bacon. So sweet. Also he made mimosas (champagne and oj) with raspberries in the glass and strawberries on the side. How cute is he :) Later after his class we went to dinner with his mom and then his dad, his mom and ben and I watched Sex in the City. It is such a chicflick. The boys were great troopers, watching the movie with me. All in all I have a wonderful birthday.

New Year, New Day

Hey everyone,

I hope all is well at the beginning of this new year for everyone. Ben and I are off to a running start. For me I have been just working my butt off. Where Ben on the other hand is working a ton and has gone back to school. This semester he is taking English, public speaking and spinning. He loved the spinning class last semester so he is going to do it again :) He is still working both jobs and the two days off he has a week, he is in class almost all day. Poor guy. Hope he can survive the semester. Other than working and barely seeing each other we are doing great. I am looking forward to my birthday, so we can have to night off and relax at the same time. IT seems like when I am home and awake he is at work and visa vera. I think for my birthday we are planning on going to dinner and going to the piano bar. Can't wait.

Last but not least New Years and The Sugar Bowl. Ben and I hung out with my good friend Brittany. She was in town for the holidays. We had a great night of friends. I couldn't have asked for a better night.

So for the Sugar Bowl, Ben and I went to Sushi together then off to our friends house for the big game. We had such a good time watching the Utes kick some Alabama butt. I cant wait till next season.

The last big thing Ben and I did was go to Body Worlds with his dad. I thought the exhibit was amazing. I had such a time see the amazing human body is such a amazing artist way. I highly recommend everyone to see it, if it is still possible.

Christmas

So Christmas came and went...It was a wonderful Christmas. Ben and I had such a good day. We got the chance to See both of our fanilies. We got to watch Alicea open presents from Santa. She got a new kitten "Max Diego" I think it was her favorite present. We also got to Have a relaxing breakfast with his family. His family also makes me feel so comfortable. His family and I are going to Hawaii in May for our Christmas present. I am so excited I have never ben to Hawaii. We are spending 10 days on Kaui. Cant wait. So Ben and I forgot to take photos of Christmas. But I did take a lone photo of our first Christmas tree together, it is small but it did the trick. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Hello Everyone,

So I am going to back track on the holidays. Here it goes...

Thanksgiving Ben and I went ot Kayc and Lizzie's for a great dinner. Kayc and Liz pulled off an excellent dinner. We also got a chance to go eat some pie with Ben's family. After some good dinner we went back to Kayc and Lizzie and we played the Wii. I love the Wii, it always proves to be a good time. Unfortnately I had to leave early and go to work. It was a great night full of many things I am thankful for FAMILY.
